You must demonstrate to them that you are optimistic. Do not let them see that you are discouraged. If you always appear to them to be upbeat, they will learn to be also.
Even if you are discouraged, make every effort to appear to be positive. If you act the way you want to be, you will become what you desire. Being negative causes you have a bad attitude and will be sensed by your children. When you act positive, you will lift your motivation which will be reflected in your children and will boost their motivation

There are many ways nowadays that are used to teach kids how to read and how to spell. Equipping them with the basics would provide them the skill they need in school. People this generation prefer their kids to be educated at a younger age. The short attention span of children is what is considered as the hindrance for learning young. Overcoming this obstacle is easier than most people think. Making the task more entertaining and game like would make children participate easier.
There are aids or tools that can be done to make kids learn to read. Story books with colorful and entertaining graphics would make reading appealing ti children. Being familiarized with the pictures and words familiarizes children on how to read the letters and words. Providing rewards also entices children to read. Once kids learn to read a new word, they are rewarded by their parents or teachers.
